I got this via Chocolate and Zucchini who got it from Very Good Taste.
Here’s a chance for a little interactivity for all the bloggers out there. Below is a list of 100 things that I think every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life. The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food - but a good omnivore should really try it all. Don’t worry if you haven’t, mind you; neither have I, though I’ll be sure to work on it. Don’t worry if you don’t recognise everything in the hundred, either; Wikipedia has the answers.
Here’s what I want you to do:
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.

What? You never tried a Cognac with a fat cigar??!!! ;-)(just thought that was a strange food choice on this list)
I don't know how to "cross out" lines, either so I'll just do what you did and bold or highlight the foods I have eaten.
Like you, I have always found the idea of steak tartare revolting. (and isn't it served with an egg in the middle or something?--yech!)
I saw this on Chocolate and Zucchini too, but haven't gotten around to posting my answers yet. Time to get on that, I think! :)
Choosing to eat raw meat, poultry and seafood is just asking for trouble, IMHO. :-p
btw, to cross out items, I think you would have to copy this list into a Word document, use the "strikethrough" option, and then copy and paste back into your blog. More trouble than it's worth, I think.
Tons of meat you have tried!! and some strange dishes I don't think they have even heard of here in Guatemala :-) I have searched a few dishes that consist of vegetables and spices that I would love to try! curious fact: they are mainly from Asia! India and Pakistan most of them.
Ohh, I have seen this flying around and also a Brit one as well...I don't think I could ever eat snake anything. Did it really taste like chicken like they say it does?
Marie - as far as I remember it was quite bland and chewy, the broth was nice though. I didn't actually know what I was eating until I had swallowed. This has happened to me 4 times with strange foods!!
I had to react to this yummie picture!! I love this clam chowder version!!!
I like the list and when reading it I must confess I have been eating a lot of weird foods lol. Love food though so I nearly try everything!
